Our representative in Switzerland, Valentyn Bezshapkin, was invited by Apoorva Maddela from Jignasa to travel to India and speak at Vikas College of Engineering and Technology.
Together with poet Parneet Kaur, he engaged with students and the academic community in conversations about the war in Ukraine, the humanitarian challenges facing Ukrainian Charity Alliance, and diplomacy as a tool for international solidarity.

For us, these meetings go far beyond cultural exchange. They are strategic efforts to build trust, forge partnerships, and engage new international allies to support the Kharkiv region, our veterans, children, internally displaced persons, and all those in need.
Special attention was given to the future of European–Indian relations in light of the recently signed TEPA framework and new trade arrangements with the EU. Strengthening economic ties between regions also creates additional opportunities for humanitarian cooperation.
We are sincerely grateful to Jignasa for the invitation and their openness to partnership. Their strong network across Southern India and collaboration with high-level political leaders creates meaningful prospects for long-term, systemic cooperation.

Today, humanitarian diplomacy is an investment in Ukraine’s sustained and long-term support.
